  • 100% whole wheat pita
  • olive oil enough to brush on crust
  • shredded mozzarella cheese (part skim)
  • feta cheese
  • organic natural pizza sauce
  • any veggies you enjoy!
  1. Lightly brush olive oil on pita crust.
  2. Top with sauce
  3. Add a small amount of shredded cheese and then add veggies. Top with some sprinkled feta.
  4. Bake at 375F until cheese is melted.

~ BBQ Chicken Pizza: Dinosaur BBQ sauce topped with grilled chicken, shredded mozza, minced red onion
~ Chicken Pesto Pizza: Homemade pesto sauce topped with grilled chicken, feta or goat cheese, spinach leaves

Pita pizzas are an easy, healthy alternative to greasy take out pizza. Our kids love creating their own pizza. Leftovers act as a snack, appetizer, or even lunch the next day. I make our weekly menu so I have to remember to eat these in moderation. Otherwise, we would have them every night if we could!
