Insanity Max 30 Program Launch: December 2nd!
Dan and I are big fans of Shaun T’s workout programs. Shaun T is the creator of Hip Hop Abs, Rockin Body, Insanity, Insanity the Asylum, T25 and now Insanity Max30. We started with T25 about a year ago and worked out to Insanity this past summer. Awesome programs that push you hard to give you great results. So…when we heard of the new program launch coming out this winter we got excited. And I can finally say – it’s here!!!Insanity Max30 is about to launch next week on December 2nd! I wanted to write and share some information on this new program and what you can expect!
Insanity Max 30 is Shaun T’s latest 60 Day program with 150 new moves to help you dig a little deeper and get your body in the very best shape of your life. It combines cardio and strength moves without the need for any equipment. The workouts are all 30 minutes each with a 10 minute ab workout. The idea of this program is not to make it through the entire 30 minutes, but to “MAX OUT”: Go as hard as you can until failure….until you have to take a break. You track your daily Max Out time and aim to increase your time with each workout.
-T25 or Insanity graduates ready for a harder challenge.
-Anyone who has been exercising consistently (3-5 days a week)
-People who have a a base level of fitness
– Those who completed the 21 Day Fix, or Piyo, any P90X program
-Those who want to lose weight and build muscle
-Runners and athletes (former or even washed up athletes! HA!)
-This is not a beginner program. I would consider it intermediate to advanced. There is a modifier.
What are the workouts like?
Cardio Challenge: 1st workout – used as your guide and fit test per se. 4 1/2 minute cardio intervals with 30 second rest periods.
Sweat Intervals: More cardio type intervals
Tabata Power: Plyometrics, and comes down to where you are not jumping and is meant to generate power in your core. Great ab work!
Friday Fight: I hear it’s TOUGH. 5 day a week program!
Saturday Pulse workout is optional. It’s more of a pulse, balance, modifier type workout focusing on core and form.
Max out Strength and Max Out Power tabata style.
45 seconds on with 15 second off = total of 6 rounds.
Friday Fight Round 2: Rumor has it – it’s insane!

You work to max out in one move – you get a little break -and then you move to max out in a new move using different muscle groups.
